Love it!

Better the words of LA weekly (just one source among others) than myself:
"AMPTP staffers, consultants and members (especially corporate publicity departments) are busily posting comments on WGA-friendly websites and blogs...filling them with hate-filled rants against the WGA leadership, the A-list actors, and the companies who've made WGA side deals. The goal is to turn off readers and drive traffic away and in the process spread pro-AMPTP propaganda....
-
The AMPTP owns most media, hence virtually no strike coverage. The WGA/writers have been using the internet to get the truth out, and there's been overwhelming support.
The AMPTP is now using paid drones to troll pro-strike sites and post anti-WGA propaganda they think people will buy. They're easy to spot:
-All writers are rich and greedy
-The writers are responsible for the strike continuing, people losing jobs/below the line out of work
-All TV sucks anyway, hire new writers, etc.
-
Unless Tarab is part of said propaganda Liz.
-
taraballou, has your father explained how the strike effects the funding of his health care plan?
-
Tarab, you have been used and brainwashed by the AMPTP. The writers asking for 8cents over the current 4cent resid. plan is hardly greedy. The AMPTP has been playing DIRTY at the neg. table, hence the ongoing strike and the loss of work for below the line crew. Direct your anger where it belongs, don't buy into crap propaganda. Learn the facts guy.

daoutlet with your writing talent it's amazing you have to be worried about paying the rent! I would think you would be worried about the ladder tiping over while you picked fruit....My family is financially secure, but then I haven't tried to destroy the industry that has employed me. Be a man jackass. If you don't want to write, the world needs garbage men too.

Oh and Camshaff, you're remain a water brained dim wit.
-
I too am sorry to hear about your father's troubles. I'm out of work too. And I am, despite Camshaff's delightful fantasy that I am leading a luxury lifestyle, truly concerned about how I am going to make my rent. But the wga did not put your father out of work. The AMPTP's refusal to deal has put all of us out of work. Your anger is righteous but misplaced. Do you really think the middle class writers are to blame? Or is it more likely that the super rich corporations bear the fault?
-
taraballou I am sorry to hear about your father. What the WGA knows but does not tell the truth about is that the writers are very highly compensated. The producers take "ALL" the risks and more often than not lose money on film and TV productions. Thanks for the kind comments, however comments like daoutlet made just demonstrate the low intelligence and integrity levels of the WGA and its supporters.
Actually cutting the edgers does make it edgier!!
Before it only had 4 edges.. once does are cut there are now 8 edges!
