Nikk & Neal are still on the show, but yeah the majority of the characters in this closing credits from 1997 are no longer on the show. I wonder whatever happen to Miguel though? I mean he was on Y&R for years (since the early 80's) and all of a sudden, he just mysteriously disappeared around 2000.

This was by far the best closing sequence Y&R ever had. To include the moving shots of the actors as the credits scrolled up from the side was ingenious. What's even more mind blowing is that once the openings began using these real shots of the actors but continued with just the Y&R logo in the closing, I kept thinking to myself why didn't they continue with the character shots in the closing as well. Several years later I was indeed blown away when they started doing just that -- like here!
