AAMI Stadium could've been mistaken for a swimming pool as the Power's key men dropped like flies in the wet conditions. Richmond pulled off a freakish victory - their first of the season, and first since August 2009.
ok, i do agree tamblings free kick was a bit soft, but watch the whole match and pick on ports free kicks tooo, sometimes i hate this voice over chick
A special day for all South Australians when Richmond who were on the bottom bet the Power Puff Girls. So much tradition spoken of, on a day when the club celebrated its 'nothing' tradition it STOLE from the SANFL Magpies. And yet it was the Power Pugg supporters claiming a few weeks prior, that Adelaide struggled to win at home against the Tigers. Funny how it bites you in the backside when you cant even win on a special day. Lowest total ever scored, lowest crowd and crappest team ever r Port
I recently bought from Name A Game Footscray v West Coast from Round 23 of 1992, when the eventual premiers were lucky not to kick the lowest score since 1899 after being stuck on 0.4 (4) with six minutes to go.
The striking thing about watching this game is how much Football Park resembled the Western Oval of that day in 1992. Every time a player in either game hit the ground, water rose.
I think that artificial drying, let alone covered stadiums, is simply bad for football.
@GratzDingleberry45 Yea it's true it was a freakish win but we've come along way this season and have improved so much!!!!! that either nxt season or the season after that i can c RICHMOND on top :D
Calm the fuck down. Just because we win 1 game, it doesn't mean we are going to come out and beat ST.KILDA this week! I can only see Richmond winning 1 or 2 more games for the season. I'm not really worrying about wins, I'm concentrating on the bigger picture, where Richmond is going to be in a few years, developing young stars, and creating a strong culture at the footy club.
The best part of this game was the youngsters got to experience a win which is the most important thing long term.
Riewoldts last goal was the best of all
