This really makes me miss the mono-hull days. As cool and fast as the new AC45's are, match racing just isn't the same in catamarans.

This is the kind of video that only someone that races sailboats can appreciate. When you consider these are 45', the level of boat handling when they luff up at the start of the video is insane.

I hope AC35 is back to the tradition sloop/cutter rigs! The cat/tri race was okay, but we all knew Alinghi had no chance of winning against that masterpiece BMW/Oracle built

match racing is the best! its less hit and hope then other racing. u gotta stick near eachother and read what ur opponant is doing. all the boats are basically identical making it all about tactics and brain work. only thing better than match racing is team racing!
