Nowhere in the scriptures does hinduism disagree with homosexuality. culturally however its seen as normal practice to get married and have children. Sati in some parts of india voluntary or forced is a cultural thing in pockets of India. When done voluntarily, there are deep reasons as to why women did it. Forced ones are however wrong. Culture isn't the same as religion and you need to remember that. Further religions help conquer the internal world, whilst science external.

Hinduism believes in one god, manifested in different ways. Ultimately the concept expressed is, everything is one, and everything in this world a just a manifestation of the this. Again there are pages and pages on why Hindus expresses this to be the most plausible explanation, and no its nothing to do with "god telling you so, or a prophet said so". Despite all this it still accepts atheism, agnosticism etc... because it admits ultimately we just don't know. (creation hymn).

Hinduism only believes in one ultimate reality and all that we see humans, animals, and the essence of all things material and non material are manifestations of it. There is nothing but god.

Yes you can, actually why don't you collect an ant put it in a container and worship that, because you are free to do so in Hinduism and it would be free. That doesn't mean its the right way of approaching spirituality. Rituals which are still evident in majority of India are done, because majority cannot comprehend higher spiritual/philosophical ideas, however due to the nature of Hinduism, it doesn't send you to hell for it.

All paths, lead onto other paths, cycles of life and death for each human is a web which ends with the same jackpot, (freedom from the cycle of life and death/enlightenment). The concept of Satan the way you understand doesn't exist in hinduism. The Devil is within our superficial self, and this is clearly evident when humans become greedy, lustful, selfish, envious etc......
