Speedway Bikes at costa mesa

First time throwing a leg over a speedway bike since 2001, and i only rode 3 times in 01, so really the first ride in almost 8 years. Costa Mesa's Amatuer Afternoon is a great opportunity to practice the world famous bullring track! Randy D's 500 is a short stroke Jawa motor so it didnt want to stay in the high rpms as easily which bogged and hooked up the rear tire and pulled me off the pole.....a bit different than what i remember but really fun anyway!!! D1 rider Greg Ayers setting the pace quite well...
