Rogue (owner/songwriter/frontman) may have this same problem with his indie band Cruxshadows compositions (close to 100). Also the indie German group Corvus Corax. Both are easy to contact through their websites. Both compose their own stuff. Both are indie, have extremely strong fan followings, and have been around many years. They may be able to suggest things.

@Ward - actually we are already Youtube partners - and have been for some time - but yeah, it's a struggle to work out what their policies are and how they are implemented!

If you don;t already have a G+ account, DO IT NOW! There is a large community of musical artists on G+ and the Hangouts are set up for professional production and recording. Several artists have published their albums using it. It is a hugely supportive community and someplace you need to be. If you need, you may contact me there.

Ben has a G+ account and likes it... I've been resistant as there are only so many hours in a day, and Ben claims that I should "write songs" or something crazy like that ;) H.

We're hoping to do this via just getting their attention & getting them to talk - YouTube has been good about that in the past for other people. Besides we're Canadians so we prefer to avoid lawyers when we can ;-)

I have like all of your songs on my eyepod and it was really cool to here you speak. I'd give you some advice, but I have no idea what you should do. Sorry! Just thought I should leave a comment saying how awesome you are though. I first came across your music when I heard about a song called Leafpoollullaby (it's your song actually just renamed) and a lot of people use it for a warrior cat song. You should check it out anyway, and good luck with the youtube thing.

Sigh. Why is it some organizations think Indie means Unimportant? I know its more work to deal with hundreds or thousands of worldwide independent artists, rather than dozens of major labels and groups, but... it's their job. So YouTube - cut the form letters, drop the defensive disbelief, and address the issues.

Voltaire was fighting with them for a long time. He just got it resolved so you are not alone not sure how he got resolved though.

In Brazil there is ways to register your music so you can... Just to show this register to comprove that you are the author. There is no such thing there or... Youtube just did not care? Well, If I like your music (trough YFGC I got to know and bought the one about the fox) and I will try to help if I find some way to do.

I'd say if they don't listen, remove all your videos and songs from the site, but then wayward fans would just re-post them anyway. :(

Seems to me, that only the Big Corporations or "Big Stars" get a lot of attention. Newcomers/Independent artists such as yourself, essentially "get the shaft", sadly enough. I guess it depends on how much money you want to pay Google, to get them to add you to the program.
