Dedicated to one of the best warm-hearted people we know -- Aunt Ida Melrose, the only surviving child of Chicago pianist / composer Frank Melrose. Carl (piano), Marty (bass), and Hal (frums) rock the house with this Twenties pop song. Recorded at the 2011 Sacramento Jazz Jubilee by Michael Steinman for JAZZ LIVES (http://www.jazzlives.wordpress.com).

  • I feel so honored...This is priceless to me,,,I love these three fantastic musicians..I never, ever thought they would dedicate a song to me...You have to agree that Carl Sonny Leyland is unbelievable on the piano, Marty is just as great on the bass, and Hal,,he is probably the finest drummer I have ever heard,,,Thanks fella's, and thank you my dear nephew, Michael Steinman..
