Passenger wants to pay with credit card, SF Taxi Driver FLIPS OUT

Location: Potrero Ave & 17th Street, 1st at the 76 gas station and then at the Shell gas station on that intersection

I caught a taxi in San Francisco at Mariposa and Potrero - the cab driver accepted me but I wanted to pay with credit card. She then made up rules like I could only pay with cash (which is untrue - her window had every credit card on it, as shown in the video), I said I wanted to pay with credit card. She said her terminal was broken so I asked to pay her with her handheld machine/carbon copy thing I've done with other taxi drivers. She started screaming at me to get out of the cab and in general having a conniption and flipping out so I got concerned so I started filming.

I asked her for her name and information, which she refused. Then she started driving when the car door was open, you can see in the video when she drives across the intersection (Potrero & 17th) with my door still open and I get concerned and scared that she's just gonna start driving around with the passenger's door open and ask her why she doesn't just give me her information. Anyways, lots of screaming at me occurred, which you can see from the video.

After I got out of the cab, I caught another cab (Luxor) on the same street corner, got a ride home, and paid for it with a credit card, easy.

Not so sure that this is conclusive evidence that she refused to accept a credit card. The driver stated at least three times on video that his card is no good, suggesting that before the filming started, the passenger's card may have been declined. All I see here is a video made by a persistant drunken jerk who doesn't know when to quit.

Wow what a bitch she can solve this problem by answering all your questions in which you have a right to know. Man oh man it should be mandatory for all cab drivers to set an example to the individual passengers the same way they should act in public with customers. Sorry to witness your experience.

@415eddo cabbie was more than patient with you. should have called the cops in the first instance and they would have locked u up in county jail for 1) drunk in public, 2) drunk and disorderly, 3) defrauding an innkeeper, less than 100, 4) resisting arrest
