It's trying to be someting it isn't.
It's like:
''The game has perks, stick-to-aim, unlimited health packs, dumbed down AI, but It's also a tactical thinking mans game''
Red River is just a boring clone of both battlefield, cod and arma with crap developers that lies to their customers cant even promise support in form of PATCHES.

Operation Flashpoint was orginally developed by Bohemia Interactive. Then, the stupid Codemasters, wich had the legal right to use the title, started developing ''Dragon Rising''. The real and orginal creators from flashpoint created ArmA - wich is the REAL sequel to operation flashpoint.
Codemasters and this pig sion lenton just used the brand name to make a quick buck.
OFP is ALL about simulation, community and modding, wich RR lacks in.
