Minecraft tutorials: [Redpower 2] Clockless Automatic Cobblestone Generator

In this video I show how to make a single clockless maximum possible speed automatic cobblestone generator.


To clarify what's really happening with the dust:

1. Cobble appears and is powered by torch
2. Breaker receives power through he cobble
3. 2nd Cobble appears before breaker resets
4. 2nd cobble is powered. breaker continues receiving power but can't break because it hasn't reset...
5. Cobble passes power to dust which powers dirt under it
6. Powered dirt turns off NOR gate redstone torch
7. Cobble loses power breaker resets
8. Redstone loses power, triggering NOR gate torch on
9. ???
10. Profit

@QwerertX There's no need to turn it off. the breaker will stop automatically when there is no valid container for the cobblestone anymore. Such as when the chest is full. I'll be making two new tutorials soon. One updated tutorial on my expandable clocked generators and one on a special generator.

@Zilerrezko Episode 14 of my LP has a clocked one using a rp2 timer that's much more compact when built in multiples. Check it out. :)

Works like a charm. If the chest gets full, you have to manually break the block to restart it, though.

@HidaOkami Actually you don't. if you just happened to empty the chest during a time when the torch was burnt out. give it a little time it'll start.
