@p91156 It's funny because sticky has two meanings - sticky like glue or jam and a stick like off a tree. It's really a kids joke because you're supposed to think the answer is 'poo' but it's 'stick'.

@brucewayne201 - it's true that 'very fantastic' is not correct - however fantastic is not a verb, but an adjective. 'Extremely fantastic' would also be wrong, by the way ;-)
-
very fantastic is incorrect.
Fantastic is a "strong" verb, and with verbs like that, one can only use adverbs such as extremeley, really and so on

Tell me the truth. Are you on drugs? : - )

great!! I love your lessons "prof.",bbc l.english has a lot of interesting things but only for advanced levels :-( your site should have a space for the beginners with simple stories where the teller reads and explains the text.i would like to have anly a lesson for month....30 mins for month...with common words
This programme is helpful. I found that it is unforgetable and easier to learn those English idoms. Thank you intelligent man. ( PS. Why does "brown and sticky" make people laugh? I know the answer is stick, but I don't find it funny because I still don't get it...)
