Happy Labor Day, everyone! No, this isn't actually Episode 14. In fact, this is about one BILLION times better than episode 14. This had been rolling around in my head for a few months now, and only just came into fruition recently. This video is a combination of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Gundam 0083 Stardust Memory, MSG, and The Gundam Mod for Homeworld2. Here's the link to the mod:

Now, I understand that this has nothing to do with Patlabor, but that doesn't mean you can enjoy this pointless holiday's special. If you watched 'The Day of Sagittarius" and remember that Gundam reference that was thrown in there, then this is pretty much a full version of that. We're so clever.

.. was this done using a different version of the gundam mod for HW 2? the musais look a lot better and so do the effects of gunfire. But i was sure 3.1 was the most recent one that was made

No, this was done using 3.1. I didn't do any special tricks aside from turning everything up and capturing at the highest resolution my old monitor could support. Hell, if I waited two more months, this would be in 1080p :).

Shaz: Revy and I are both working on our tabletop armies. She uses Chaos Space Marines, while I just use your garden-variety Space Marines. All of us do play DoW on occasion though.

The usage of "Mobile Suit" from the Gundam Unicorn soundtrack during Nagato's hacking was both unexpected and fantastic. I was truly surprised by that mashup and how well it worked here- kudos on that diamond of originality.
