I'll never ever get tired of hearing this movie song. It's such a very unique, fun, overlooked and underrated song and there's no possible way that anyone could sing this masterpiece as well or better than King Elvis did. Elvis will always be the greatest singer, entertainer and phenomenon. Elvis will also always have the greatest voice and the greatest fans. This video was absolutely perfect in every way, 10 Stars as always Jackie.

Great stuff, lovely beat and full of vitality. I like to play it on piano, boogie-woogie style! Only one King ...

I love the bounce and rhythm of this old number from Love Me Tender and occasionally play it on piano boogie-woogie style

What a Genius!! Hey does anyone know what genre this falls in...country? but it has another sound to it...? Elvis is the only artist in four Music Halls of Fame...country, rockabilly, rock n roll, and gospel. Of course there's his "pop" music...and those movie songs many of which I thought were fantastic... Am I ready, Home Is Where the heart is, Follow that dream, Not the Marrying kind and so many others... just a genius....no one else can compare.

It was released on A Date With Elvis, and Essential Elvis Movies-The First Movies. It is also available on the Jailhouse Rock/Love Me Tender soundtrack compilation, The King of Rock n Roll-The Complete 50s Masters, and
Elvis: The Other Sides-Worldwide Gold Award Hits, which is where this version is from.

Written by Ken Darby, although Elvis and Vera Matson (Darbys wife) are credited. Elvis recorded it at Radio Recorders on either August 2 or September 24, 1956. It was featured in the movie Love Me Tender.
