Coming May 30th on region 1 DVD from Discotek Media, the Japanese anime classic Puss 'n Boots. Also known as the Wonderful World of Puss 'n Boots. Key animation by the master of Japanese anime Hayao Miyazaki. The action sequences in this film were the prototypes for the chase scenes in Castle of Cagliostro.

I had this movie on VHS with it translated into Russian, it was one my favorite movies when I was little, and I still love it ! The animation is beautiful! That was one of the reasons I liked it so much!

This was my FAVORITE FAVORITE film when I was very young. There was only one VHS copy in town and I think I wore it out from making my mom rent it so many times. I didn't realize as a toddler that it was a Japanese film dubbed in English. I will have to watch it again as an adult now that I know Miyazaki was involved.

Wow! I still have a taped VHS of this film since I was young. I never knew it was anime till I saw Toei's logo from DragonBall Z years ago. I gotta have this on DVD.

there is actually a dub version of the first Pero the cat movie but It would be nice if saban brands can redub this movie though.

I don't think many of you realize just how breathtaking this animation really is for its age and time - compare this to Scooby Doo and your head starts to reel! Miyazaki is truly a talented man and this clearly shows how far back his talent has run!!
