The Haka is part of their culture. besides, The all blacks are the most successful Rugby team in the world as they have a massive win streak against every OTHER national team out there.

A old Maori All Black named Buck Shelford decided that the haka needed to be learnt properly and payed the respect it deserved in the late 70's. It came at the same time as what is known as the maori renaissance, into what we know today.

I guess the All Blacks used to do the Haka for the audience and in the last two decades they use it to intimidate the rivals

@jake4ash TriNations 2002, 03, 05, 06, 07, 08, 10. Grand slam 2005, 2008, 2010. In the last 5 years South Africa have been beaten by The Lions, France, England, Ireland AND Scotland!
