Was denied a lifting strain WC claim (by Zurich) on three points, all proven incorrect one year later. But just 2 weeks after their denial of the lifting injury claim, I fractured my spine at work in construction. Forced to see QME, his X-rays showed the injury as new, but flipped, reporting my injury non-industrial. I discovered the QME was also an "expert medical witness" for insurers in jury trials. Two years later (collapsing legs), I received emergency multi-level fusions, & lost it all!

This is not a national problem it appears to be a global problem. Personally it took three years to get my claim accepted due to a fake and fraudulent investigation into compensibility. Then two more years before an appeal board looked at the medical evidence and paid wage loss. Now it is on to rehab, vocational retraining, and disability....maybe ten more years of appeals i may end up with a bit more but it will never be worth the destruction of my life! WCBs are blatantly fraudulent.

Thank-you for your honesty, I went from being a very productive employee to being a liability on my family.

My wife is now our only source of income, the intentional monumental stress created by workers comp is devastating and has caused secondary injury which has been diagnosed but again are denied. I am being made an example by workers comp just like the workers comp board member stated to another injured worker when he released my private information without my knowledge or authorization.

@FIXWCBCANADA I have seen workers documents with my own eyes that are 100% clear cut evidence of forgery, document tampering, including fake Doctor reports. The corruption runs so deep here that you cannot even get the highest court official to investigate. It is another sick example of the insidious nature of these bastards. Canada's Cronie greets Obama and is thinking, we is gonna screw them Americans. This is a Canada NAFTA violation. We shall see if USA likes getting shafted. Again.

When corporate Hitlers lie on their 10-Q form and allege they're self-insured and they're not because the Dept. of Industrial relations revoked their certificate and never reinstated it, it's a 10B violation of the security & exchange. My former company cooked the books, Authur Anderson the accounting firm for Enron did their books for Consolidated Freightways. means no workers compensation insurance, retention policies one would still need to be self-insured, it's binding in court if they lie.

The amount you received from SSDI is a function of what you paid in. If your annual earnings were in the $75,000 range your monthly SSDI benefit will be in the $2,000 + range. If your annual earnings were in the $20,000 range you are more likely to be looking at $1,000 or $1,250 per month.

Sam please email me if you know of an honest ortho surgeon, I have multiple spinal injuries and workers comp has denied me any medical intervention. I am in severe chronic pain, on oxycontin and amytriptyline, which only gives me minimal relief, My back and tailbone were fractured and the only treatment I have received is cortisone shot, I am unable to due physiotherapy due to severe pain that escalates with exercises. WCB has denied any help and states that my multiple spinal injuries are minor
