great band!! nice groove!! wonderful cover!!
look at the kids they are dancing!!

Gene Clark songs not easy to sing. Have a look at Gene himself fluffing the opening in Adelaide with McGuiin and Hillman. But that guitar break rocks and he gets that famous ending really well.

Not a bad job at all -- and I tend to be pretty critical of bands trying to play classics ;)

Actually, a very good rendition of this classic Byrds tune. In an age of digital sampling and completly fake and computerized music, it's refreshing to see some actual musicianship on display. Good work, Guys!

Great cover of this Byrd's classic!...I met 3 of the Byrds in mid 65, in SF, and they were cool. Just the day before I was with Gene Clarks sister, and she told me about them! WOW!!!...I notice a little bit of Gene in the singers voice. It is a shame that Gene left the Byrds as that was really the beginning of the end of the Byrds.....Anyway you guys are really good! Where are you from?...I want to get back to your music! Thanks! and I still PLAY...it...LOUD!!!

Thanks for the compliments. We are from the Chicago area. Our web site is dubdubdubtheclassof68dotcom. You are right the Byrds were very cool and were one of those bands whose career should have been much longer. You may also want to check out the comment just below form Iain. He has a band called the ByrdBrains, which isn't a 100% Byrrds tribute, but pretty darn close.

Man, I wish I'd been at that show - you guys are an onstage party!!! And imagine... a band that pays at least as much attention to the background vocals as to the leads - totally refreshing! But be warned, I have my eye on that Super Beatle - I have a '65 Hofner that just loves Super Beatles!!
Cheers,

Thanks for the kind words! That is actually a '66 Guild Starfire that I am playing through the Super Beatle. I also have a '66 Hofner, but unfortunately when I put the TI Flats on it, the neck warped. Trying to get it back in action. Let's hear it for vintage gear and 60's Rock and Roll!
