  • I love my elliptical because it's completely painless (aside from some temporary numbness in the soles of my feet after a couple of hours) and I can burn fat for hours at a time. I completely ignore the calculated calories burned or distances travelled since they appear to be entirely bogus and they are really irrelevant. If I get my heart rate up and burn for a long time, I know I've done well. I've lost 50 lbs in the last 9 months and am nearing my goal of 65. Just do it!

  • @wackypissed87 Haha that's awesome, I'm so glad it worked for you too! I have also used the diet solution that I found in by the site WeightLossAction.Info, and I could never asked for more! A lot of fats gone in a matter weeks.

  • Thank you Sir!

  • @IPWNBXRmash that's some 70's stuff really outdated.

  • @StraightFlexed Don't say stupid stuff. not all rules apply to people. I can see ur an idiot Steve knows what he's talking about u dumb ass. People overweight shouldn't run on treadmills, just walk. Also seniors prefer elliptical for low impact on articulations. Think b4 u open ur mouth.

I do own an elliptical, but I noticed that for the last 2 weeks that I go on it 4-5 times a week for nearly an hour and 10-15 mins, I have been gaining what looks like more muscle in my thighs and legs. I don't want muscle, my goal is to just look more slim, not muscular. Treadmill or elliptical?

  • excuse me am trying to buy an elliptical for home can u please recomend any please!

  • @TitWarlord It's different between people. As a tall and heavy man i can not do the tread mill for longer than 15 mins. The knee pains get too me and i have to go slower. Personally me i have better results on the elliptical and burn more calories that way. Now when i drop to my target weight i will train my body on the treadmill just not at the moment.

  • @chessdude67 Yes, I still use my elliptical almost daily. I've lost 70 pounds which is more than my goal. I started running this summer and planned to run a half marathon in January. I thought it would take me months to slowly build up to running 13.1 miles. But, apparently, my elliptical has put me in better shape than I thought and I breezed to finishing my first half marathon after only a few weeks. And I still don't have any joint pains either. I can't explain that unless it's because the
