Why Does John McCain Refuse to Wear a Flag Lapel Pin?

On one day in May 2008, John McCain was seen without a flag lapel pin, and Barack Obama was seen with one on his jacket. So, if we were to work with the Republican Party's logic, we would have to ask, in a shocked voice, "Why does John McCain refuse to wear a flag lapel pin?" It's a ridiculous question, of course - but it's a question that Republicans take seriously... just so long as it isn't aimed against their candidate.

Barack Obama is as American as any of us. He has served this country in the most noble way possible by helping working families rather than taking a high paying job or marrying a rich beer heiress. McCain has served this country as well, but remember he has encouraged us to continue our involvement in another country's civil war which is only destructive to our great nation. This is as un-American as the terrorists who destroyed our twin towers.

And I can't wait until we get actual universal health care in place, then I might actually be able to visit the doctor for annual checkups. Maybe the dentist a couple times a year. I wish my government cared that much about its citizens.

@Ematched I'm interested to see what the new W-2s will look like after the new healthcare rates are figured in. From what I've heard about the bill, and nobody has read it even the people who pushed it through, If you do not have healthcare at your place of employment, there will be a added tax on your W-2 to cover the government imposed healthcare coverage. Which means less money in tax returns, which many people use to make it through the year. Good luck to you, hope you get a good job.
