@lindseylee77 I'm not sure about that, obviously they are not going to be dominant but a team with Ponor, Iordache, Izbasa is a good team. They were 4th at London but they didn't have Iordache or Izbasa and Ponor was just back in training, personally I wouldn't count the Romanians out of winning a medal, epseacially know that Belu is back.

@cicboo134 i've fallen like that before..if you're tight like she was, it only knocks the wind out of you for a second, if even. it doesn't hurt at all. she could have been hurt worse if he would have tried to catch her, because then she coul hav fallen funny and seriously hurt herself. I think her coach knows what he's doing...why don't you just leave it up to him.

The fall wouldn't have actually hurt all that much..mostly just shock
Believe me i know....I only just avoided a serious back injury in championships qualifiers and i've had other falls on bars not to different from her fall
Amazing routine though...that dismount was just perfect!! :)

how ridiculous to say "Romanian women are moving little by little off the podium" ...so far that didn't happen...yes, they wish them off the podium, but that's different. Just last year during Olympics they stayed on the podium and disproved all those who thought they can be counted out. Ha-ha. Everyone has ups and downs, but that doesn't mean you can make a trend at each turning point. Amelia, you are great! Keep it up!

I don't think the comment that the romanias are moving off the podium is correct at all. Sure - the team won a bronze at Beijing and no one expected them to win anything. Izbasa - Gold on floor when everyone thought Fei or Johnson would win. They are NOT moving off the podium at all. If you follow their upcoming Juniors you can SEE that they are going to get back in the gold spot on the podium. Racea is one junior, Larissa Lordache, Diana Bulimar, Ana Porgras and MORE... Massive talent!
