Road Trip Time-lapse

We drove up to Reno on the 4th of July weekend for a little break. It was a fun drive that the family and I have been doing for years. I was really surprised at how low the snow level was for this time of year.

how did you mount the camera in the backseat?? I'm just getting into time lapses and would love to do some on some drives into the mountains....

@matthewbennymcgee I just used a regular tripod in the back seat. Two legs on the floor and one leg on the seat. Good luck on your time-lapse!

how did you get the mini google map to fade in the left side of the screen like that!? oh and how did you get the camera to move in the other time lapse you did???

@ShmooyShmoo I got rid of the background Google uses and I just left the roads using video editing software. I assume the other time lapse you are referring to is the 'Best of' video I have up. Since I shoot with a still camera and not a video camera, I have lots of image that isn't seen in the standard HD video size; that allow me to pan around using video editing software.
