FuturesPassed has coined this type of video, "intellectual humor." Scattered, and non-focused videos were much more common in year 1 of this video blog.

  • Great vid, even though there is no set point, it all seems to fit, good job. The time flies bit was funny though, I laughed for like 2 minutes straight

  • That one was famously stated by Groucho Marx. :)

  • I think that this video gradually turns to entropy as it progresses haha. I like your hair, by the way. Also, some very interesting things to think about here and there.

  • Random but interesting and amusing. I like it. I'm also envious of your lovely mouth and teeth!

  • Mac, though it's obvious you are a very intelligent and conscientious young man, I'd like to give you some advice. First, it's a well known fact throughout the world that Americans can be hypocrites and bigots. Second, with your mind you can make a difference in this world, but only if you want to. Third, change your world the way you think it should be, one person at a time. There's always going to be inconsistencies in life Mac. Get involved and lead the change.

  • It is all part of the bundle of sticks an owner of property has.

  • The business model of the record industry and copyright are two different animals. I'd might agree that there is no need for the outdated business model, but this does not change the fact that someone will still be creating music for others to consume - the new model simply eliminates the record companies as a middle man. As an artist, I'd still expect you to pay me if you decided that you wanted to add my music to your collection.

  • You wouldn't charge people money for using jokes that you thought of.

There is no need for the record industry to exist anymore, the only reason we still think downloading music is theft is that there are businesses set up to make money off other peoples creativity.

  • The fish analogy goes like this:

Give a man a fish, you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime. (He doesn't owe you anything).
