This political ad is probably the best one ever made in my opinion. It's honest, it's good, and it makes points about issues and Gravel's personal reasons for being in the race.
It was this video that finally convinced me that Mike Gravel was the candidate for me. Of all the issues on the table, the one that gets me the most is party corruption. Gravel is the embodiment of party discrimination due to that corruption.
Vote Gravel.
He seams to be well intentioned but 'not one major issue...' Healthcare ?!!?
He may not think so, but its funny he did nothing for 8 years, until there was a black president. All he is going to do is split the democrat vote, and try rob them of the best president they have had for a looong time.

@Sivaisthebest This video was made during the 2008 election. This is before the healthcare bill was passed, and before Obama was president. Gravel ran against Obama in 2008 and was eliminated relatively early. Honestly, I don't think the HC law is real progress anyway. Bush also passed a large medicare bill that made up most of his spending. This was sorta helpful, but still not real progress.
Also, Obama is simply not the best president in a while. He's worse than Bush.

Being English, I've never heard of this guy, the real sad thing is that people like this never get into government. Or by the time they do they've been corrupted beyond belief. The cost of running for office means that the 'ordinary joe' is never again going to be president of the united states.

I've been having this viewpoint recently as well. I supported Gravel for the reason that he seemed simply uncorruptable.
But you're right. Running for the American Presidential seat depends more on your connections and funding rather than your skill as a person and knowledge on the world.
Thanks for your comment.
