Makes me want to run spectaculator (cracked version) and play me some manic minor.

Poor old Jim Westwood - they've made him out to be this terrified shrinking violet with too much hair, jumping out of his skin every time Uncle Clive started fuming about something.....Bloody TV producers hehe And the portrayal of Sir Clive himself was an eye opener - still don't quite believe that.

Yeah noticed that too.

@HOLICEtv agreed ;P

Zoolookologie - what a tune.

@madcapoperator I'll second that because they refer to levels and JSW didn't have levels but MM did.

That was the problem with the Acorn BBC, it was too expensive. £299 for 16k, £399 for 32k. Only the rich kids had them. Spectrum £125 for 16k, £175 for 48k. And the Spectrum had far more games for it.

@damedavid I suppose the Beeb was just too expensive to make it as a home computer - being more than twice the cost of the Spectrum made it totally uncompetitive for most households. Shame really, as it's actually a very good games machine - Elite of course, but also the likes of Revs, Exile, the Acornsoft arcade clones, etc.
"Games, games, everywhere I go, games. This is what my lifetime of achievement has been reduced to. Clive Sinclair, the man who brought you Jet Set fucking Willy!"
