they should revitalize the culture there... invite new chinese themed businesses,have chinese festivals themed fair,have annual new year Fire Cracker Esplosive Display ,maybe just before new year , eve, chop goh meh, etc. Clean up the foreign labour ( too many ) selling non-relevant pirated stuff....the merchants and local MP should do something and make it a heritage centre..built some residences or apartments nearby,,open back the roads for vehicles...since it was blocked it lost its character
