Yo pair of concords maybe that way but not mines, i have more cushion and padding in mine as well. The patent leather is is taller but since the cdp 11's thru 2011 all the patent leather cut various. Some is higher than others but without a doubt the concords are better and thats all the concords i came across not just my pair
