This is the Gaithers Vocal Band (both old & new members) singing new lyrics Gloria Gaither wrote to the tune of Be Still My Soul. It is beautiful the music is classic (of course) and the lyrics are awsome. The harmony is just great. It was something I just wanted to share because it touched me so much. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

  • gorgeous. these lyrics are so amazing.

  • @thatcherpoe the lyrics just blow me away and reduce me to tears every time I hear them. I love the Gaithers and Gloria's talent for words is awesome.

  • i need some more info about this song please, wat is the title of there song? and of wich year has this event took place and wich place?

  • @Slapdullah I'm sorry I don't know the title. Gloria Gaither wrote the lyrics and used the melody/music from "Be Still My Soul". I recorded it off the TV and don't think I even know when or where the event took place. But the lyrics are so beautiful I had to grab it and share it. Sorry I can't be of more help.

  • it means so very much to me to as well,

  • This song is absolutely beautiful. Stirs deep in the heart of those who sincerely love God.

  • This is from the Gaithers Special "Amazing Grace" a great album w/ good recordings of the Hymns as they were written. This song Is called "I Then Shall Live" the words were written by Gloria Gaither and the music is the music which we sing "Be Still My Soul" to but in actuallity it is a small sampling of a great work of clasical music "Finlandia" written by Jean Sibelius. Every time I listen to the classical piece and it gets to this part I hear the words to this though.

  • @Slapdullah

I then Shall Live is the name of the song

    Blessings,

    Mike Fesler
