My Diabetes

I got Type 1 Diabetes and im 11 i've had it since i was 10. Its not that hard for me any more I just find it part of life now.

i was 7 and now iam 17 and i have a special form that sucks but life goes on ^^ greetz to all people that have diabetes :)

This video brought tears to my eyes. I was diagnosed at 14, but I'm still struggling with some of the day to day regimen. It is really exhausting and it really is a struggle every single day.

Type 1 Diabetes really makes you grow up faster than you want to. I wish you so much health. Keep fighting, girl.

Jessie, that is a fantastic comment and you sound very mature for your age! I was diagnosed at 14. Your A1c is very good! Gosh, I don't even know you, but I'm so proud of you! :)

If your DAD is type 1 then you should know that type 1 is not because of being a stupid, fat American. Type 1 is autoimmune and has nothing to do with being overweight.

diabetes is as bad as this vid makes it out to be today i got a detention for fainting in the hall way by the nurse cuz my school nurse is an idiot but the point is every time we get a high bg thats is a strike of our eyes kidneys limbs and much more once our strikes are up were are screwed so we have to take care and plan everything to make sure we dont get high

My son is 14 and very healthy, thin does everything right and he was just diagnosed 3 days ago. Conbo70 you are an ass, type 1 has no rhyme or reason these are kids and yes it can be as bad as this Koltonkj26. Some kids have it a long time before they are diagnosed and that makes it harder to control. We are very lucky as my son was diagnosed before any damage occured.
