@kazbo THANK YOU!!! im currently doing a 555/4017 sequencer. do u think i can use the 555 pulse to this as well? i want to synchronise the drums and sounds.

Cool! I like it. your sequencer is nice and minimal. I think I see how you configure the loop length using the 4017 reset input.

absolutely! i use 4017 for stepper and change steps by changing reset input pin.
