This arrangement as samba from Brazil was written by Eugenio Toussaint, mexican pianist, arranger of Sa c be Jazz Band and classic composer, orchesta conductor of Anka between 1983 and 1986. Sounds fine and even an angry man as Paul couldn't resist to keep it in his shows as years went by! (B-p)
Serpico, Paul and Bobby were good friends, and Paul is remembering his good friend in performing it. Same as "It Doesn't Matter Anymore" which Paul gave to Buddy Holly. I agree, though, it is Bobby Darin's song, and no one does it better. Wish the whole version was available to view. This video is just a "snippet".
