Juli, while you may be cute you seem to be supporting someone who has voted for increased taxes over history. Just beacuse a candidate talks a good game doesnt mean they will bring that to the field on game day. Now that he dropped out the only REAL conservative choice is Ron Paul because he has actually sent bills to Congress requesting change in froeign policy, spending and civil rights. Do more research before endoirsing someone.

Don't forget that our country was once allies with crazy guys like um Saddam Hussein and ummm Osama Bin Laden. And our country's CIA has removed leaders from other countries & replaced them with dictators like ummm Pervez Musharraf. The majority of Pakistan hates Musharraf. Thompson was my second and only other choice for Republican, but the undeclared and unconstitutional warfare is the difference maker. I recommend watching the documentary "Why We Fight". You can watch the whole thing online if you want by googling it.

(part I) I respect your thinking. It sounds intuitive and logical. Except for the war. But like you said, you have a right to an opinion. I know Ron Paul is against the war, but I think, truly, Ron Paul is the best thing for our ever growing and oppressive government.

(part II) We can not win the war, but we can save our country. As far as the abortion thing goes, I agree with you, but he has SOOO many things going for him, that are in the best interest for you... me... and everyone except for those people you see sitting on the porch on your way to work--and the people walking the streets at 12:00 at night breaking into your home as you sleep. Those people are dependent upon the government for welfare, which you pay for with YOUR job.
