This is the one they removed because corporate CX didn't like it. BUT by firing the pilot they made world wide news instead. All we need now is the original vid to complete the tale. Go go Wilky boy

  • wish someone to have a video about Emirates EK-407

  • No body forgot EK-407

  • A few years back we had a British Airways jet(don't know them well enough to know which model) do a flyby over the General Electric plant nearby. The local news used to always tell the public a day or so before hand, but not this time. The crew flew extremely low and they did some really odd maneuvers along with turning with the wing near vertical and then flew off into the distance. Phones at the police stations nearby rang off the hook as people thought there was a near crash heheh.

  • I had a dream I was on that plane, but it was a convertible !

  • if it was censored, kid, you would not have it to post on your youtube wall ;)

  • Fake.

  • They fired the pilot? @tasman763, you think safety was compromised? How so? Excessive speed? Definitely not. Too low? Not really, however, any lower and I could see where it could make somebody a bit uncomfortable. If they had only cleared the fly-by with HQ, nobody would have said a thing. I would bet the reality of the situation is it surprised somebody and they felt like they had to act. I don't believe safety was compromised and beyond that, no laws were broken either.

  • The golden rule for pilots: NEVER MAKE YOUTUBE!

  • @timber733 In my opinion ( as a pilot ) safety was most definitely compromised. A minimum altitude would have been agreed in pilots briefing ( as per company policy and rules which are set with manufacturers input ) This was a very basic violation . I am sure he / she is a fine pilot , but that is not the point ! kibz2005 is exactly correct , this IS gross misconduct.

  • @kibz2005 well I am not in GA but due respect to those that are, many happy days in that comany (now for my sin's Royal Air Force). As I understand matters senoir airline management happened to be aboard the aircraft on said event so I imagine the commander thought he was perhaps promoting the company in the course of his actions, in passing, I would be interested to know what disiplinary actions were taken actions against the co-pilot, since technically he was equally culpable.
