Nice vid mate. Not very often you see these jobs done properly. I recently bought a Metal Encased Pickup Selector Switch. Would you recommend grounding the metal case via the pot line? Any tips would be greatly appreciated. All the best. Tartan.

Isn't the job of the star washers to ensure the pot is firmly attached to the pickguard? In doing this the pots are connected to the earth plane via the pot chassis. If the ground plane wasn't there then an earth connection to the top of the pots would be necessary.

What kind of soldering iron and solder are you using? I got my iron from wal-mart but it takes a long time to get hot.
