Many nations around the world, including the United States, are facing a challenge regarding the use of the electromagnetic spectrum. The challenge involves the continued development of wireless devices that are realized by the use of "spectrum" (radio frequencies).
Spectrum is a finite resource that has significant capabilities to generate revenue for a nation's economy, yet spectrum is also a vital enabler for first responders and other organizations that contribute to a nation's security.
The DON CIO's spectrum video, titled "Electromagnetic Spectrum, Critical to our Nation's Security and Economy," identifies the U.S. challenge of balancing economic growth and national defense.
Is this an advertisement for something? And why on Earth are they so hung up on the USMC and Navy?

If military is so depending on it and its so fragile , then woulnt that mean people who want to attack the military can screw up things easily ? I mean there are those who want to do bad things to the military right ?

@cyberdaemon yes there are but it isn't that easy to screw up something that is designed to prevent someone from screwing with it. The military isn't as vulnerable as we are or as fire, police, ambulances, etc.
