Please remove the battery from laptop at first.
Then unscrew four screws that are below the battery.
Remove the plastic cover as shown in the picture below.
After removing this cover four screws holding the keyboard will appear. Unscrew them as well.
After that, it is time to unscrew all the screws on the back panel of the laptop.
Unscrew screws located on the PCB.
Disconnect the touch-pad cable.
Screws on the metal stripe also must be unscrewed.
Then we separate the top cover of the laptop by starting from where it is easier to separate and using something flat made from plastic.
Before separating the motherboard from the chassis it is necessary to unscrew the screws which are holding the wireless cart and remove it from the slot.
I have exact same problems. I wont ever again buy a HP product, I've own two laptops from them, both have had issues with overheating and battery. I feel like throwing this piece of shit down from the balkony....

I have the HP dv7 2030 and it looks the same from underneath, I´m having some trouble with over heating I guess, it makes alot of noice and the screen turns black after an hour or so. I thought it might help to clean the fan, but i have no clue how to get there + do you know any other solutions on fixing this problem?
