@iheartmusic86 You may want to check yourself. Batman does in fact have morals. He works to protect civilians from criminals where the flawed Gotham PD cannot. He will refuse to kill because he believes and knows that he can find another way. That is in fact a moral. Get your facts right.

A vigilante is one who metes out what they find to be more proper justice, finding that the current system is flawed or has failed too much that it's ineffective. Ergo, in most people's eyes, they're heroes, even though they are not sanctioned by the police or government. They do what others are too afraid to, and that's to make sure that a criminal pays what's considered by many to be the proper punishment.
