installed some Flowmaster American Thunder mufflers and Pypes offroad H-pipe the last couple of weeks. the sound from the camera (Canon A75) doesn't do the final clip justice. the sound is just plain wicked

  • would an off road x sound better?

  • I put an offroad X-pipe on there since this video was uploaded. the BBK long tube headers and X-pipe. it is louder, but I am not sure I will keep the Flowmasters on there. I love the sound, but it could be just a wee bit better. see my other video of the autocross to hear the sound of that setup.

  • I have a C&L cold air intake with a 93 octane tune from Brenspeed. that alone woke up a good bit of the motors potential.

thanks everyone for the positive comments. the exhaust sounds awesome, but it may be a bit to loud. I may have to tone it down a little by putting the stock mufflers back on and keeping the off-road h-pipe.

  • sorry if this sounds rude, but about how much did all that cost you? Im looking in to exhaust systems for my 94 GT

  • just for the exhaust, it all cost about $500.

  • Get your damn foot of the clutch - you will wear it out early if you keep shifting like that! You don't need to shift from 1st to 2nd so bloody slow. Other than that... that sound is music. Beautiful. You are a lucky man to have a wife who tolerates your expensive passion.

  • that ain't the clutch slipping going into 2nd gear. that is the tires spinning in 2nd gear!

  • @Brent05Redfire your retarded, it takes so long to shift becuase the tires are spinning, its not him shifting its the wheels catching traction, my bloody SVT v6 does the same when it shifts into second.

  • hi i ' m robbiesafordman302 i just changed my account. if you wan't sound and tone and performance go with mac products mac mufflers there similar to flowmaster but better sounding i think a little louder.

if you wan't your car so loud that it sets off car alarms get some cherry bomb glasspacks and a off road x pipe with some headers.

  • I "had" american thunder on mine but I decided to change to MAC pipes & converted to dual exhaust. ;-) both sound pretty good.

  • good choice!

  • You should go with a borla catback S type exhaust or SLP loudmouth off road X pipe .. just my opinion, but it'll def be loud as hell..

  • I have glasspacks as well.. they're burnt out, and annoying as hell haha.. I'm about to get the Super 44's and o/r x pipe I believe.. I'm still shopping around

  • i have glasspacks and they sound tight as hell

  • cherry bombs? are you out of your mind?! cherry bombs on a mustang sound like $hit. I have american thunder on mine.

  • wow that off road H pipe made a difference. sounded a little raspy with those pipes ringing and rattleing. sounds good but i would put some cherry bomb glasspacks on there for the raspiest sound. there some of the cheapest mufflers you can buy.

  • that stang sounds nice..
