You should have shown how to tweak the laser pots in the drive. That changes the strength of the lasers ability to read CDs AND Games. One pot is for the laser reading CDs and the other Games. This should be done ideally with a multimeter turning in the proper direction according to your drive make. If no multimeter, then adjustments must be done a FRACTION at a time, until the laser reads the games. Ensuring the laser is properly situated in the correct place to begin with. End of.............

@MrRadioactiveRaisin I just followed the instructions in a few "videos like this" and saved myself quite a bundle of cash and got to feel like a fucking genius doing it. Granted, as I was taking apart my xbox, I was fully prepared to break it even more, throw it off the roof of my dorm, and buy a new one, but my warranty was out so I figured I'd give it a shot, and it worked.
