Just tried this on my 2005 sentra and it did not work. Looked up other procedures and found one that was very similar and worked. Very Simple.

You can disconnect and reconnect (after about 10 minutes) the car battery in your vehicle’s engine compartment. You can just take one of the cables off for couple of minutes and put it back on. This works the same way as restarting your computer. It should help to clear minor “bugs” in your keyless or electrical system.
Now, please follow the activation procedure for the remote again.
Please also check if the vehicle was equipped with keyless system

Those video shows how to program the remote only. Key must be cut and programmed by nissan or car locksmith

I am afraid it will not. Those are instructions for Nissan not Mazda.

Yes, it will work provided your Altima was factory equipped with keyless entry system.
