RTM News: Strange Sounds in Canada, Costa Rica, etc. Trending on Youtube - Jan. 2012

As for me (Sheilaaliens), I think I'm only going to post on the strange sounds when there is some form of acknowledgement that it has happened, other than just a youtube video or a conspiracy forum website. No, that is not to say that mainstream media makes something official, because it doesn't. But I foresee this strange sound business getting out of control pretty darn quick.

Other sources I consider credible enough to post about would be numerous twitter reports of the incidents. Stuff like that. One video from one person and no corroborating evidence just isn't going to cut it, sorry folks.

P.S. on that note.... I think the Costa Rica sounds REALLY did happen... as for the video of the incident... I have no idea/on the fence. But it did happen, I saw all the various reports on twitter and in the news. So yeah, that was legit and perhaps even the video/s are, but really, who the hell knows.

This TV spot started out in an interesting way and then cancelled it's value out with a joke - reducing it to fluff rather than something investigative and worth my time. I'd be fine with them contrasting the joke to something that digs deeper and then asks "Which is it?". I'm in Western Canada and this is of interest to us. Just hope it's nothing bad, even though that would make these TV folks change their tune!
