In Flames, Arch Enemy, Children of Bodom, and Into Eternity have jack shit to do with emo. All four band are melodic death metal.

1. Avenged Sevenfold are emo. Seriously fuckers, I own one AS album, "Waking the Fallen." They should have stuck with that sound or quit. They should have quit now so fuck you
2. Dead By April are more of nu-meta/metalcore, far from emo.
3. Still Remains (RIP) They had their emo moments, but when they really let it all let loose holy fuckin hell..the only emo moment they really had was "Dancing With the Enemy," which if you look at the whole picture, was more of a parody of emo.
