@zelly2k9 The browser lags so much because Flash plug-ins are enabled. If you go to settings and disable plug-ins you will have a iOS-esque buttery smooth browser. iOS doesnt support Flash so its always smooth. Dont let Flash create a misconception of the whole OS.
@zelly2k9 totally feel you on this. been using the droid for about a year now and id totally stick with the droid after my contract ends but the browser lag and just the whole os in general having so many glitches/freezes i cant take anymore. sadly im going to have to switch over to the iphone :(
why the hell does android lagg so much when browsing? even the iphone 3gs is so much smoother when zooming and scrolling. damn, I wanted to get an android phone now, but this should be a problem for me:/ anyone know if the galaxy s2 or lg optimus 2x will be fast, because I really would like to get one of the newer android 2.3 phones, or I will have to get an iphone 4:&

@ptyh27 There is no way to uninstall an official update. Other than to root your phone and flash an old version of android on it.
