Landing on Alton Bay ice runway on Lake Winnipesaukee, New Hampshire, February 25th, 2007. This airport is a seaplane base by summer, and when the lake freezes over they plow a runway on the ice. This was our first visit and our first ice runway landing.

Slick landing... no pun intended. Ah, actually I did intend. =D

Why would you add music to this video? Its much better a raw video with stall warnings, engine roar, wind blowing than some music... don't you agree? Great landing though. Like trumpeter said, a crosswind landing would be hazardous. Do you need special tires to land on such surface?

I would never try to land on this runway in a crosswind!!

Nice landing! Great job keeping it slow on touchdown.
