It WAS a factory dedicated Mappy cab, believe it or not. Midway modded some Mappy cabs to have Jr. Pac-Man boards and Jr. Pac artwork, and sold that way.
I noticed you were playing that on a Multicade by the "scared" monster sound. :P
@kickflipjr - They do, I did a video on it in one of my next videos. It really is one of the hardest games to play when it comes to the Pac-Man arcade franchise.

@MrTechnoSqueek Nope. Just if you complete level 9, 14, and 18/19 (i'm not sure), you get the same intermission where Jr. is dropped by a stork.

@n8great321 You can modify the dip switch settings to change the difficulty. The game you played in your youth was probably set to "easy".
MAME is configured initially for default difficulty.

Looks like a pretty nice addition to the series. lol, I like the story.
I think the only one I've ever played in an actual Cab is Mrs. Pacman.

Man, I love this game on the 2600, but I'm sure this version is much better :)

I have this on my mame cab, definitely harder than the original. it seems like the enemies are a lot faster and more relentless.

Chinatown Fair arcade in NYC has one of these.

I think that Jr. Pacman was an unlockable character in the genesis port of Ms. Pacman
