Love the song and love the fact that Donnie appears to also. You can see the energy he brings to it, even after all these years. It looks like it was pure unadulterated fun to be at that venue!

@ILOVEDONNIEIRIS You work for Youtube? I was just makin' a remark about stuff being cool even in todays' age of corporate media - Iris' video is UP unlike untold numbers of others pulled by the corporate "owners" of the art. These days you can indeed look up the portfolio of any artist you like and discover s/he/they had more'n one hit (who recalls Arthur Browns other hit? ;) in OTHER markets. But "Ah Leah" made an impression so deep I mega-tip my piercer JUST cuz she was named for the song :)

I think Donnie loves what he does. It shows in his performance. He is truly one of the last real rockers. This song was on a jukebox where I worked many years ago, I knew how to finese the machine and I played this song everyday. I'm so glad Donnie made it big...he deserved it. Real Rockers are hard to come by nowadays.
