The first 2 months of my 5 ball juggling progress, beginning 30th September 2007.

Special thanks to JugglingStein who gave me the determination to learn the 5 ball cascade.

Note - for anyone wanting to learn to juggle 5 balls: Do not expect to have a solid pattern after 8 weeks. This video only shows the best runs I got within the first 2 months. Even after 5 months I still didn't consider my pattern to be completely solid. It takes a LOT of time and effort.

Music before Audioswap:
Frank Sinatra - "That's Life"

  • lol i suck at spelling

  • i found myself turning wright and i found it was my left hand too far out in front of me so when i through it i through it somewhat backwards so it could land in my right hand thus me turning right. so try keeping your left hand in if turning right and keep right hand in if turning left. hope this helps

  • how much did you practice??? how many hours and days in week

  • just did my first 5 ball flash today :D

  • Anyway, well done you :)))

  • I could never get the 5 ball cascade. I must be honest: It beat me in the end and I settled back into 3 ball tricks.

  • For anyone who starts turning to one side while juggling, it could be that you're not keeping your wrists straight which makes you have to reach for the balls. Focus on keeping them straight and the balls in a perfect plane in front of you.

  • I've been working on 5 balls for like 5 months now and I can barely get a run of 50 catches. After like 30 or 40 my pattern gets really sloppy. Anyways, nice job. That's really good progress for two months of practicing.

  • that's strange. I've been working on it for about 5 weeks and can get 40 catches but I can't stop turining to the LEFT.

  • After my first 7 days with lots of practise each day i average around 10-20 cathces and my record is 33 (although i cant stop turning to the right!) is this faster or slower than average?. Oh and im poor and therefore 3 of my balls are the same and then the other two are different so im trying this with 3 different balls (1 of which is taped up)
