  • @zevex747 colour is normally irrelevant. In this video, it looks the colours reflect the 'age' of the cell. i.e, just born cells are blue, and they change to green when they are one generation old etc etc.

    i have my own version in which new cells actually inherit the colour of the parent cells (plus a random mutation). It is on my profile if you are interested.

  • I'm coding this in C# right now. I want to make the colors look interesting. How does coloring the Game of Life usually work? Is there a list of colors that the cells go through as they generate?
