Lewis had a great career and retired at the right time. Many fighters didn't retire at the right time and suffer needlessly. So it's bullshit to say he is afraid of Vitali. He made it clear three months before, that he would retire after Vitali. Moreover, he got no business blocking punches with his head while he's still got his health and a good balance in his checking account. I doubt any boxer wants to end up like Holyfield or Bowe. Holyfield's probably got about 1.95 in his checking account.
