It's not that different from when I first saw it in 1994. Sure it's bigger and faster now, but you do the same things: input url's and click links. Email is also pretty much the same.
There are a few people saying "Go to Hell" to no one in particular just to be ironic. There are many more pretending not to know what the internet is. If you take this video comments section as any indication, you don't get "screen after screen" of insults on the internet, but rather post after post of people repeating the same joke thinking they're being original.
